In the atmosphere of celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and Independence Day of September 2, ACV is honored to participate in the “Economic and Social Achievements” Exhibition, taking place from August 28 to September 5, 2025 at the National Exhibition Fair Center in Hanoi. With the theme “Global Connectivity, Advancing the Nation into a New Era,” ACV’s exhibition booth highlights the breakthroughs in science and technology applications that the corporation has been implementing in order to provide the best service to passengers and enhance efficiency in airport operations.
ACV’s exhibition space is designed in the form of a four-sided open booth, simulating the image of a “flight corridor,” bringing a sense of connection between heaven and earth, freedom and openness. This design represents the spirit of innovation, creativity, and continuous development of ACV in the journey to become a modern and internationally integrated airport operator.

Enhancing customer experience through automation technology
At the exhibition, ACV introduces many pioneering technologies. Among them is the application of automation and biometrics in passenger services including 138 self-service check-in kiosks at 19 airports nationwide; new-generation check-in counters integrated with the VNeID national identity system; and automated security control gates (Auto gates). These modern technologies help shorten processing time, enhance convenience, and improve the experience of passengers during their journey through the airport.
Ensuring the highest level of safety and operational efficiency
Another outstanding technology introduced at the event is the system of detecting foreign objects on runways and aprons using artificial intelligence (AI) cameras, developed by Vietnamese engineers. Based on deep learning and computer vision, this system can identify foreign objects such as screws, bolts, or pieces of concrete on the runway surface, thereby ensuring absolute safety for aircraft operations. Compared to traditional detection systems using radar technology, ACV’s AI camera system provides higher accuracy, complies with FAA and ICAO standards, while being more economical and efficient.
Also, at the exhibition, ACV presents the Airport Operational Control Center (APOC), which is considered the “digital brain” in airport operation management. APOC integrates many modern technology systems such as the Airport Operational Database (AODB), the Airport Collaborative Decision-Making system (ACDM), and the Flight Information Display System (FIDS). Thanks to this integration, APOC enhances the ability to manage, monitor, and coordinate airport operations intelligently, synchronously, and in real time.
In addition, ACV also introduces the real-time 3D GPS mapping system for aircraft stands and apron activities. This system allows airport staff to observe all apron operations visually, thereby improving coordination efficiency, reducing congestion, and enhancing the overall capacity of the airport.
Shaping the Future with the Long Thanh International Airport Megaproject
A highlight that attracts visitors at the exhibition is the introduction of the Long Thanh International Airport project. Inspired by the image of the lotus – a symbol of Vietnamese culture and identity – Long Thanh International Airport is expected to become a modern, world-class “smart terminal,” fully converging advanced technology solutions in line with the development orientation of the global aviation industry. This is also a clear demonstration of ACV’s vision and determination in the journey to build a key international gateway, contributing to affirming Vietnam’s position on the world aviation map.
ACV celebrate the 80th Independence Day.
Through its participation in the A80 Exhibition, ACV not only looks back on its development journey, but also affirms its pioneering role in applying scientific and technological advances to aviation infrastructure management and operation. This is also a message about ACV’s determination to continue innovating, integrating, and developing sustainably, contributing to bringing Vietnam’s aviation industry into a new era of prosperity and global connectivity.
