Outstanding achievements in operational activities
Maintaining stable growth momentum amid a volatile global economic context, ACV continues to affirm its role as a core enterprise in developing national aviation infrastructure. During the first six months of 2025, the Corporation recorded promising operational results, reflecting the strong recovery of the aviation industry and excellent operational management efficiency throughout the entire system.
Specifically, airports managed by ACV successfully served 368,969 flight movements, recording an impressive growth rate of 9.6% compared to the same period in 2024. More notably, passenger traffic through the airports reached an encouraging figure of over 60 million passengers, increasing by 9.1% compared to the same period, while cargo and mail throughput reached 801,927 tons with a growth rate of 9.8%. Financially, total consolidated revenue during the period reached 52.5% of the annual plan, corresponding to a 4.6% increase compared to the same period last year. These positive results not only demonstrate ACV's synchronized and efficient operational capacity but also ensure sustainable financial balance while maintaining stability in living standards and welfare for nearly 12,000 employees throughout the entire system.
Strategic infrastructure: significant progress in airport modernization
As the leading unit in investment and management of the national airport infrastructure, ACV is actively implementing numerous key projects of national significance.
The T3 Passenger Terminal project at Tan Son Nhat International Airport has been inaugurated and officially put into operation ahead of the committed schedule, marking a proud achievement of Vietnam's aviation industry. This modern facility not only significantly contributes to relieve pressure on existing terminals but also elevates service quality and operational capacity at the busiest airport of Vietnam.
The Passenger Terminal T3 at Tan Son Nhat International Airport significantly alleviates pressure on the existing terminal, while also enhancing the capacity and quality of aviation services
Sub-project 3 at Long Thanh International Airport Phase 1, one of the key national infrastructure projects that has captured society-wide attention, is recording remarkable technical progress with important items such as the terminal's roof and central glass facade being substantially completed. Simultaneously, the synchronized construction of concrete works, steel structure installation, and glass roof installation is being accelerated with full force. Particularly, the runway surface and critical connecting transportation systems have been fundamentally completed according to international standards. ACV makes a strong commitment to basically complete the construction and technical infrastructure by the end of 2025, ensuring the airport's synchronized and efficient operation in 2026.
Nearly 13,000 specialists, engineers, workers and approximately 3,000 pieces of machinery have been mobilized to ensure the project's progress
Alongside these key projects, ACV is also simultaneously implementing numerous other important expansion and upgrade projects nationwide, including the T2 Passenger Terminal project at Dong Hoi Airport, apron expansion at Cat Bi International Airport, comprehensive upgrade of Ca Mau Airport, and runway and apron renovation at Vinh International Airport, all being urgently implemented according to the established timeline. With a total investment level for the 2024-2025 period estimated at over 139,787 billion VND, this impressive figure demonstrates ACV's strong investment scope and capacity to organize and implement large-scale projects nationwide.
Digital transformation: elevating passenger experience and management capabilities
With deep understanding that digital transformation is the key to enhancing corporate management efficiency and customer service quality, ACV has taken strategic steps in comprehensively deploying the most advanced technological solutions across the airport system.
The full-process biometric identification system, intelligently integrated with the VNeID platform, has been deployed at key airports, allowing passengers to complete aviation procedures with "one-ID" convenience and speed. This technological solution not only significantly reduces procedure time for passengers but also enhances safety and security levels throughout the entire control and management process.
Biometric technology based on the VNeID platform has been increasingly deployed at airports
The ACV Self-services platform has officially become operational at key airports, including automatic check-in kiosk systems, self-bag drops equipment, e-boarding gate, and AI Camera systems capable of accurately tracking passenger movement journeys. These technological solutions have brought completely new, modern, and maximally convenient experiences to passengers while helping optimize operational processes and enhance service efficiency throughout the entire system.
Regarding information technology infrastructure, ACV is systematically and comprehensively investing to build modern data centers and intelligent automatic charging systems at terminals, ensuring the entire system operates stably, continuously, and safely at the highest standards. Notably, ACV is closely coordinating with the Ministry of Public Security, Ministry of Construction, and relevant functional authorities to complete automatic immigration systems at all international airports, with the goal of completion in 2025. This is evaluated as an important breakthrough step, bringing Vietnamese airports closer to the most advanced smart airport standards of the new generation in the Asia-Pacific region.
Social responsibility and sustainable development: core values of a national brand
Aligned with long-term development strategy, ACV always prioritizes sustainable development and social responsibility in all production and business activities. The Corporation seriously and comprehensively complies with strict regulations on environmental impact assessment, international aviation safety standards, fire prevention and firefighting regulations, and all international operational standards in each production and business activity and in the implementation of construction and investment projects.
Internal communication and public relations work are also particularly emphasized and promoted by ACV to widely disseminate ACV brand values to the community, maximize the effectiveness of meaningful social responsibility programs, and continuously enhance the reputation and image of the enterprise.
With the impressive results achieved in the first half of 2025, ACV proudly continues to affirm its leading role in building and developing a modern aviation infrastructure system, making important contributions to Vietnam's socio-economic development and international integration endeavors.
