Instead of presenting ID documents and boarding passes as before, passengers flying with Vietnam Airlines, VASCO, and Vietjet Air can now complete procedures quickly and conveniently be using facial biometrics—Face ID—via the VNeID app.

1. Steps for Biometric Boarding Procedures

Step 1: Check-in and Facial Data Registration

Option 1: Check-in online via the VNeID app and verify identity using eKYC.

Option 2: Check-in and register facial data at the counter: Provide your ticket and Citizen ID (CCCD) at the counter, then look into the camera for the system to automatically recognize your face. Once registration is successful, proceed to the security check.
