Amid the severe situation of COVID-19 pandemic, Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) has directed all frontline – against – pandemic airports actively coordinate with the local People’s Committee and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to test all employees for COVID-19 in order to ensure the health safety of passengers and employees as well as to create a confidence for passengers when using air services during the Lunar New Year 2021.

On February 4, 2021, 100 percent of employees from Tan Son Nhat Int’l airport, Cam Ranh Int’l airport, Can Tho Int’l airport, Vinh Int’l airport and Lien Khuong Int’l airport have tested negative for the COVID-19. These results have brought peace of mind to employees and passengers travelling by air.

In the coming days, employees at 16 airports of ACV including Noi Bai, Da Nang, Phu Quoc, Cat Bi, Phu Bai, Buon Ma Thuot, Phu Cat, Pleiku, Chu Lai, Tho Xuan, Dong Hoi, Tuy Hoa, Con Dao, Dien Bien, Rach Gia, and Ca Mau will get tested COVID-19 by the local Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Airports have strictly complied the Safety Operational Procedure to ensure passenger safety in the Covid-19 pandemic situation.

ACV's airports have drastically implemented the pandemic control and prevention measures in accordance with the direction of the Prime Minister, the National Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Transport, CAAV, and ACV. In addition, Airports have also cooperated with airlines, ground service enterprises and relevant stakeholders to strictly comply with the Health Safety Protocol and the Safety Operational Procedure during COVID-19 for passengers with the aim of absolutely ensuring passenger safety and security as well as service quality during the Lunar New Year 2021.
