On June 13, 2025, at the ACV headquarters, Chairman of the Board, Mr. Vu The Phiet, welcomed a delegation from Singapore Airlines led by Mr. Adrian Ee, General Manager of Singapore Airlines, along with Mr. Abdul Hafiz, Singapore Airlines Country Manager in Vietnam, and representatives from the airline's operations and management departments in Vietnam.
Overview of the meeting
During the meeting, the Singapore Airlines representative expressed special interest in cooperating on operating flights at Long Thanh International Airport once the project is completed. Currently, Singapore Airlines and its low-cost carrier, Scoot, operate a total of 75 flights per week at major airports under ACV's management, such as Tan Son Nhat, Noi Bai, and Da Nang. Recognizing the strong growth potential of the Vietnamese aviation market, Singapore Airlines wishes to increase flight frequencies and expand its operational network in the near future.
Singapore Airlines representative extended appreciation to ACV for its enthusiastic and professional support and for creating favorable conditions throughout the airline's operations in Vietnam. This support from ACV has not only contributed to Singapore Airlines' success in the Vietnamese market but has also helped strengthen the close relationship between the two nations.
Furthermore, Singapore Airlines pledged to coordinate closely with ACV in developing long-term plans, including enhancing service quality, optimizing operational efficiency, and contributing to the sustainable development of the regional aviation industry.
