Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) and Vietnam Air Traffic Management Corporation (VATM) have just singed the Regulation on cooperation which determines principles, cooperative aspects and responsibilities of both Parties to ensure safety and security as well as improve operational efficiency at ACV’s airports and VATM’s relevant units. 

Deploying the Directive No. 19 / CT-TTg dated April 24, 2020 of the Prime Minister on the continued implementation of measures to prevent and control Covid-19 and the Conclusion of Prime Minister at Standing meeting on April 28,2020, The Ministry of Transport has allowed the increase in the frequency of domestic flights, trains and buses from April 29,2020.

Noi Bai International airport (NIA) officially puts into operation a disinfection chamber at the airport’s operation center developed by group of young engineers from Noi Bai Aviation Technical Service Center on March 24 as an effort to curb the spreading of the Covid-19 pandemic.  

With the Covid-19 pandemic hitting numerous countries and territories around the world, many economic and social aspects are severely affected especially aviation industry. Domestic and international airlines have already cut down flights to/from mainland China, the world’s first outbreak and also suspended all flights to/from North East Asia, Europe…   

All passengers from COVID-19-hit areas will be transported to isolation camps upon their arrival at Noi Bai and will be tested at the quarantine facilities.
