On August 7, 2025, Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) hosted a cordial meeting with Boeing Vietnam at its headquarters to explore future collaboration opportunities, with a particular focus on the deployment of the next-generation Boeing 777X aircraft.
On August 5, 2025, ACV issued Directive No. 3504/CT-TCTCHKVN regarding the enhancement of electronic identification, authentication, and biometric recognition applications for boarding procedures at affiliated airports.
On the afternoon of August 4, 2025, at Vinh International Airport, ACV held a meeting to report on the progress of ongoing projects at the airport. Attendees included Mr. Hoang Phu Hien – Vice Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Nguyen Tien Viet – Deputy General Director of ACV, along with representatives from the Departments of Construction, Agriculture & Environment of Nghe An Province, ACV’s Construction Investment Project Management Unit, ADCC Company, contractors, supervision consultants, and inspectors.
Starting from August 1, 2025, Con Dao Airport has officially launched a system for electronic identification, authentication, and biometric recognition, marking a significant milestone in its digital transformation journey. Instead of presenting ID documents and boarding passes as before, passengers flying with Vietnam Airlines, VASCO, and Vietjet Air can now complete procedures quickly and conveniently be using facial biometrics—Face ID—via the VNeID app.
On July 30, 2025, Ca Mau Airport held a ceremony to officially receive the entire land area for the project on land acquisition, compensation, support, and resettlement to expand and upgrade Ca Mau Airport. The event was attended by representatives from Ca Mau Airport, the Ca Mau Provincial Land Development Center, and the People’s Committee of Tan Thanh Ward.
